If you are experiencing problems with any of your Default Libraries not showing, or you are receiving an error ("Library already loaded from another location"), following the instructions below may solve the issue. (See attached PDF)
Troubleshooting Default Libraries Not Showing or "Library Already Loaded" Error
For Fire Studio 6.X:
- Close Fire Studio 6: Ensure the software is not running.
- Locate FS6DDL.lbl: Navigate to the Documents/FireStudio6 folder.
- Delete FS6DDL.lbl: Remove this file from the Documents/FireStudio6 location.
- Restart Fire Studio 6: After deletion, relaunch the Fire Studio 6 application.
- Confirm Restoration: Your original default libraries should now be restored.
- Resume Operations: Proceed to load new simulations and libraries as needed.
Note: Be cautious not to delete the FS6DDL.lbl file located in Program Files/Digital Combustion/Fire Studio 6. Only delete the one in Documents/FireStudio6.
For Fire Studio 7.X:
- Close Fire Studio 7: Ensure the software is not running.
- Locate FS7DDL.lbl: Find this file in the Documents/FireStudio7 folder.
- Delete FS7DDL.lbl: Remove this file from the Documents/FireStudio7 location.
- Restart Fire Studio 7: After deletion, reopen Fire Studio 7.
- Confirm Restoration: Your original default libraries should now be reinstated.
- Resume Operations: Proceed to load new simulations and libraries without issues.
Note: Be careful not to delete the FS7DDL.lbl file located in Program Files/Digital Combustion/Fire Studio 7. Only delete the one in Documents/FireStudio7.
