If you recently upgraded to Catalina on your Mac laptop and Fire Studio 6.2 will not start, there is a simple fix:
If you aren't using the latest version, Download the latest version from your Customer Portal. Uninstall the old version and install the newest version. (Skip this part if you are already running the latest version.)
Make sure Fire Studio 6 is not trying to start. (Force Quit if necessary).
On your Mac, go to System Preferences---Energy Saver
UNCHECK the box next to "Automatic Graphics Switching"
Start Fire Studio 6. It should open normally.
